This is A Midsummer Night’s Dream as you’ve never seen it before! Transported to a well-known dating reality show villa, presenters Oberon and Titania are trying to keep the show, and their rocky relationship, together as a shock public vote throws the future of our end-goal couple into doubt. Meanwhile, the rest of the contestants are just trying to get on with rehearsing for a talent show finale. Into this mix, the producers add their own brand of magic to hike up the ratings, and chaos ensues.

Whether you’re a fan of reality TV or Shakespeare, there’s something in this mad-cap performance for you! Director, Alice Collins, created the concept with the aim to make Shakespeare accessible and entertaining while still celebrating the language and showing how relevant Shakespeare remains. The 16-strong cast of bombshells that make up A Midsummer Night’s Dream bring all the energy and excitement you expect from Shakespeare’s most well known comedy. We’ve got all your classic characters but with additional glamour, banter, dancing, and Love Island inspired easter eggs, including the always highly anticipated on-screen sex!

You can catch A Midsummer Night’s Dream from August 11th to 16th at 22:20 (75mins) at theSpace @ Venue 45. Tickets (£12 / £9 (conc.) are available through the EdFringe Online Box Office.
