Daisy: Wow. We actually did it! The full cast of BIG NIGHT OUT. Can’t lie, it’s been a mission trying to get you all in the same room —
HÄNS: Actually bish… before we start this kooki little chat, can you turn off ze lights? I haven’t slept for four days… and ze gingko leaf I’m microdosing on has got my eyes feeling crazi right now.
Daisy: Course.
[Daisy dims the lights]
Steve: Whoa. Lights are down… and so are my inhibitions. Wheyyy.
[Steve starts body rolling]
Daisy: Is this your first Edinburgh Fringe?
Karen: Physically, yes. Spiritually? No. I was a Scottish prince in a past life… no wonder I suit a kilt.
[Karen laughs. Alone.]
HÄNS: I’ve got ex BFs in this postcode. So yah… lets just say I’ve seen a lot of Scotland.
Daisy: I hear you can get us on lots of guestlists HÄNS OFF?
HÄNS: For klubkids.. with fashion. Yah.
[He looks Daisy up and down. Silence.]
Daisy: Riiiight. And… How about you, Steve… Porters?
Steve: “Lock up ur daughters!” Das me. Hoiii. Well this is my 3rd Edinburgh fezzi. I’ve been touring the world with my The TED XXX Talks “How to Flirt” and “How to Mate”… so I’ve actually come back cos I just miss my graduates. Doing Edders has changed my life. Met so many human radiators… You know who you are. Hoi.
Daisy: Do you need a tissue Steve?
Steve: Nah nah I’m cool. I’m cool. I’m not afraid of getting e-m-o.
[Steve tears up, takes a breathe.]
Karen: Oh for Chakra’s Sake. Sorry to ask but… when’s this ending?
HÄNS: Yah. Like no offence. But Karen’s haircut is making me scared.
Daisy: Okay umm, can we finish with a Quick fire round?
Steve: Hoe my days! I love a quick fire round! Talking of fire Daisy Doris May aka the DDM… are you a match? Cos you just lit up my night. Wheyy.
[HÄNS signs. Karen swears under her breathe. Steve winks. Daisy manages to politely smile.]
Daisy: Most used app?
🎧 Steve: Deliveroo. For Jonnies and kebabs.
🧘♀️ Karen: Notes. For my divine downloads.
🕶️ HÄNS: ze Uber. I don’t walk. I just party.
Daisy: Fringe red flag?
🎧 Steve: The peeps who don’t call their mums weekly.
🧘♀️ Karen: Anyone who says to a GURU like like me: “we should collaborate”. No sweetheart.
🕶️ HÄNS: Anyone in Crocs.
Daisy: Last thing you cried at?
🎧 Steve: Mamma Mia 2.
🧘♀️ Karen: My own flyer. The colours were so aligned.
🕶️ HÄNS: Ze price of leather.
