A lost son. A desperate father. A teenager with secrets he won’t share. When Bud, a sales agronomist for a big seed company, checks into an Iowa motel, he finds Holler, a young hustler reeling from his boyfriend’s suicide. Each thinks the other holds the key to escape.. What begins as a gritty, sharply written, and at times poignant examination of two characters with an inescapable tether to one another slowly and surely acquires horror and sci-fi elements that organically emerge and progress to a startling climax. Seed is a gripping, genre-blending drama that masterfully intertwines tension, horror, and complex human connections. 

Great Dayne Productions is a collective from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia (USA), dedicated to creating immersive theatrical productions while developing their skills through work they are deeply passionate about. With the guidance and support of Hollins Faculty and Industry Professionals, these students collaborate to create compelling and high-quality performances.
