Heather, a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, cut her teeth on some of the most coveted stages in the world, including the Hollywood Improv and the World-Famous Comedy Store. Known for her confidence and brashness onstage, Heather earned the nickname “Unruly” Heather Marulli in her early days of standup comedy. Heather got her start in performance as a high school theater nerd, but she always knew that her place was making people laugh.

Heather was struck by a car as a pedestrian in March 2024, suffering serious bodily injuries. Heather spent nearly a month hospitalized and over a year recovering after being the victim of a hit and run. Heather is still recovering from this horrible event, but she feels well enough to tell her story in her Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut. Combining standup with visual aids, Heather weaves an entertaining yarn about getting knocked down but being tough enough to still get up.

Infused with honesty, wit, and dark humour, Blunt Force Drama is a unique perspective on almost dying. Told by doctors that she would recover well because of her model “positive attitude,” Heather can’t wait to share her tales with audiences in Edinburgh during this Fringe.

You can catch Heather Marulli: Blunt Force Drama from August 11th – 23rd (not the 17th) at Fern Studio at Greenside @ George Street from 18:40 (50mins). Tickets (£15 / £10 conc.) are available through the EdFringe Online Box Office.
