Syd Barrett was an enigmatic figure, peripheral to most people’s knowledge of rock music, but profoundly influential on psychedelia in the 60s and 70s.

Crazy Diamond weaves a tapestry of distorted reality from the lives of Syd Barrett, the one time lead singer and songwriter for Pink Floyd, and Arthur Rimbaud, the French symbolist poet of the 1870s.
Tony Riley, an ageing jobbing pub singer, contemplates his own disappointment. He compares his lack of success to Syd Barret, forced out of Pink Floyd weeks after his 22nd birthday, and Arthur Rimbaud, who never wrote a poem after he was 20, but both of whom still exert a profound influence on music and poetry.
Tony is haunted by an evening 20 years ago, when a chance meeting with an old friend led to horrifying consequences, and by an annual phone call that seems different this year – is the past about to catch up with him?
A thought-provoking, obsessive drama from Two Foolish Productions asks how can you let go of the regrets of roads less travelled, alongside the music of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd.
