Ever wondered whether someone could guess what you’re thinking? Want to know why you should never play cards with a mind reader? Or are you curious to know if you’re as good at keeping a secret as you think you are?

This Halloween, mind reader Alex McAleer is bringing his show ‘Alex McAleer – Mind Reader’ to Colchester Fringe for two afternoon performances at the Headgate Theatre. And no, he’s not psychic but he is a mind reader (clue is in the tittle)

Alex has spent nearly 20 years studying people, perfecting the art of mentalism, and generally working out what makes us tick. His show is a mix of astonishing mind reading, audience participation, psychological illusion, and a healthy dose of humour.

There are no crystal balls, spooky costumes or claims of supernatural powers. Just a mind reader, a room full of strangers, and some very strange things happening.

With performances on Halloween itself, Saturday 31 October, and Sunday 1 November, it’s a rather good excuse to do something a little different this spooky season. Bring a friend, bring the family, or come along with someone you’d quite like to see have their mind read.

Alex McAleer – Mind Reader is at the Headgate Theatre, Colchester Fringe, at 2.30pm on Saturday 31 October and 1.30pm on Sunday 1 November. Both performances last one hour. Tickets are available through the Colchester Fringe Online Box Office.
