When a relationship reaches a breaking point, the story fractures into two possible realities. The audience must decide which story to follow, but every choice has consequences. Blending romance, dark comedy, and courtroom drama, Fight or Flight asks a simple but devastating question: When the final gavel hits, do you fight for the person you love or do you save yourself? 

Fight or Flight is a one-act play with two alternate endings that follows the story of two trans men who find and lose love for one another. Told through 14 scenes in a non-linear timeline, the play uses alternating perspectives and shifting memories to explore how different versions of the same story can all feel true. Each performance invites the audience to determine the characters’ fate, creating a different outcome each night.

Created by American playwright Alexander ‘Wilson’ Noe, Fight or Flight explores queer relationships, memory, and the American court system through an interactive narrative structure. Presented by emerging artists from the United States, this debut Edinburgh Fringe production introduces a new company focused on original storytelling and intimate, actor-driven work.
