“That Spring pollen filled the air, little blooms of orange dust that flew into the cafés in the city. I had sold the majority of my possessions and was sleeping on a wood pallet on the floor of my now otherwise empty bedroom. I had burned my clothes, placing them in a pile in a tub in my backyard, soaking them with rum, and throwing in an entire lit box of matches.”

A stand up and storytelling performance, Wasting Time is a distinctive, hallucinatory story of romance in a terminally online, drug fuelled, dissociated existence.

The story follows a tragic romance that begins at a small house party and flows through music festivals, long drives, beaches at night, other lovers, and mental breakdowns. Everything is always a little misaligned and the two wander both perpetually connected and elusive to each other. But they keep trying, over and over again, probably because they have nothing better to do with their lives.

Wasting Time is an intimate, highly personal show that is as funny as it is an emotional roller coaster.
