In (almost) every D&D player’s heart, there exists two wolves. One is there for the adventure, the suspense, the creation of a quest, to cry victory. The other is there to ask ‘Can we romanticise the BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy)?’. Hot Singles In Your Area Play D&D follows a party of adventurers who are more interested in the second wolf, than the first.
This crazy queer concoction is hilarious if you are a D&D lover and love anything insanely gay. As we enter the space, the cast hand us sheets of paper on which to write the following: a weapon, a type of person, and a vibe for the session. This consequently gets drawn out of a hat throughout the show to build our world.
The fantasy title of this particular session was Loaf of bread of Scientologists and Breakup dread; you would think these things would not go together, but miraculously they did.
They did so with posh nieces, hamsters with large weapons, centaurs with arms, and elderly bakers with feathers in their skin. The ensemble, led by their Dungeon Master, bring his world to life so brilliantly with incredible improvisation skills and charisma. And when they get stuck? They pick something else out of the hat!
Each iteration of Hot Singles In Your Area Play D&D is different so you never get the same thing twice. This incredible company, with their D&D expertise and some of the best D&D improv I’ve seen, guides us through comical situations, sprinkling in a satisfying battle including death saves as the cherry on top.
Performances of Hot Singles in Your Area Play D&D have now concluded at EdFringe 2026.
