An exceptional caberet with performers at varing levels of acclaim, Knickers Cabaret brings an excellent night of queer comedy.
Every night this year in Edinburgh, Knickers Cabaret is hosted by Verity Sharpe and has 3 different acts displaying their queer excellence in a 10 minute act. On the night I was there we had Dru Cripps, who performed an outstanding improvised Jazz song about video game development, Jen Zheng, with the persona of a lonely, and somewhat horny, dog, and Aidan Sadler, bringing crowd work chaos to end the night.
Verity Sharpe, to me, is the Robyn Herfellow of Lesbianism. She is charasmatic and chaotic, and plays an excellent emcee to this sexy cabaret.
Though they were battling the bass of the club night happening below the venue, all of the acts brought a fantastic performance and energy.
Knickers Cabaret is the perfect display of queer talent to finish up your busy day at the Fringe.
Recommended Drink: Pair this with a Martini Glass full of Fresh Knickers.
You can catch Knickers Cabaret until August 24th at Just the Snifter Room at Just the Tonic at The Mash House from 23:15 (60mins). Tickets are available through the EdFringe Online Box Office.
