What is love? How does it feel? When does it happen?
Multi-award winning physical comedy oddball, Jeromaia Detto, returns to Adelaide as the disarmingly charming Giuseppe Alfresco who is desperate to understand how to fall in love.
He is but a humble Italian beach boy, who has never been in love or loved another. He has never felt it, seen it, or known what it is, but, maybe he will finally feel something and learn how to connect.
Love is such an elusive experience. Something so universal, yet so unique.
Join Giuseppe as he pieces together what exactly love is. How do you make a hug? How do you charm someone? What is flirting? Will he ever be a good papa Giuseppe?
This will be Jeromaia’s 6th Adelaide fringe and 4th solo show, following the award winning smash hits, ‘MUSH’ and ‘When I Grow Up’. He has studied in Oslo, London, Chicago and Paris as a Graduate of Ecole Philippe Gaulier, and has over a decade of performance experience. With sell out shows across Edinburgh and the Australian festival circuit, Love Quest is sure to be a classic fringe experience of silliness, whimsy and non stop physical comedy!
Bring your nan, bring your lover, bring your perpetually single friend, and we can all go on a Love Quest together!
You can catch Jeromaia Detto: Giuseppe’s Love Quest from Tuesday 3rd until Sunday 15th March as part of Adelaide Fringe at The Bally at Gluttony – Rymill Park at 9:15pm (60mins). Tickets are available through the Adelaide Fringe Online Box Office.
