REVIEW: Roger Prick: Sexopolis, BIGHEAD Comedy, EdFringe 2026 ★★★★★

A smutty and playful delight that brings whimsy to the world of creeps and sex pests. 

Roger Prick: Sexopolis follows Roger, a 1970s pornographer who is trying to move with the times, as he launches a rewrite of his book The Massive Knockers and Guy Blokeman (formerly known as Guy Blokeman and the Massive Knockers) for a modern feminist audience. The play takes the form of a book launch, with Roger taking us through the history of his craft, the story of his life, and the ways he has adapted to this new ‘awake’ world. 

Roger Prick, created and performed by Han Whyte, is the most endearing pervert you will ever meet. Sexism, and specifically the sexualisation of women, is satirised with outstanding hilarity. Roger Prick: Sexopolis is therefore a comedic masterpiece that must be seen to be believed, with wit and precision mixed with utter silliness and stupidity to create pure excellence. 

Where this show shines brightest by far is its visual artistry. With a clear and cohesive design consisting of a series of unique illustrations by the performer, Roger immerses us in his wild and wacky world that is full of remarkable beauty, all the way down to simple props and gags existing entirely as illustration. The show also features several moments of live illustration, which works to add to the remarkable talent of creator and performer, Han Whyte.

Han Whyte defines what it means to be a drag king, though I fear calling Roger a king would go to his head, with visual gags, puns, innuendos and so much more. Whyte is engaging, enticing and funny down to their very core. All I could say for Roger is that I wanted more, because just an hour in this queer and crazy world is not enough.

Roger Prick: Sexopolis is joyfully silly escapism. It plays with the blights of the modern world without asking the audience to truly delve into the horror of it. It creates a warm and comfortable environment to laugh at the stupidity of a man who is undeniably awful. It drills into the stereotypes and beliefs from his world, and creates a space where we are safe to just laugh, enjoy ourselves and relate to the similarities between Roger and our real or metaphorical creepy uncle, without ever crossing a line.

Roger Prick: Sexopolis is the easiest five stars I have given all year, this show is not to be missed.
