We are looking to recruit new writers to review shows for us at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Binge Fringe has carved out a niche in covering marginalised topics and elevating unheard voices – if that sounds like the sort of thing you’re interested in, then this opportunity could be for you. All of our reviewers work with us as self-employed independent contractors, who will receive compensation equivalent to the UK Living Wage (£12.60) per review that they write. We do not tell our reviewers what they should see, but can assist in helping them research shows. All of our writers will be accredited by the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society and eligible to book complimentary press tickets for shows at the festival.
Reviews are expected to be produced within an industry standard of 48 hours.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be eligible to legally work with us in the United Kingdom as a self-employed independent contractor.
- You must be attending the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (1st – 25th August 2025) in person.
- Submit a writing sample via the form below of around 400 words that critically engages with a piece of media you have seen recently.
