Write For Us – Dundee Fringe

We are partnering with Dundee Fringe to provide reviews, interviews, and articles about the upcoming arts festival. Dundee Fringe runs from the 15th-24th September 2023 and we want you to be a part of creating engaging content for our readers.

Please have a look around our site to get a feel for what Binge Fringe does in its usual coverage of arts festivals across the world.

By volunteering to write, you’ll get:

  • Free tickets for the shows they want to review at Dundee Fringe, supplied by our media partnership with the festival.
  • Access to artists and performers for interviews and assistance in arranging logistics for interviews.
  • Full writer development with two Zoom-led courses led by Editor Jake Mace before the festival, continuing editorial support during the festival, and all of their reviews/articles published on bingefringe.com and circulated on our social media.
  • Added to our roster of regular contributors to be contacted about future festival opportunities including in Edinburgh, Prague, Brighton, Adelaide & Melbourne.
  • Any travel expenses paid.

We are looking for…

  • Volunteers happy to write either 400, 800, or 1200 word reviews for every show they attend on our free tickets.
  • Some knowledge or experience in/about live performance, theatre, music, spoken word, children’s theatre, cabaret.
  • Previous experience in published writing not required.
  • A writing sample will be requested below.
  • All applications are welcome, but especially those from underrepresented backgrounds in media.

There is no strict deadline for applications as we are looking for continuous coverage throughout the festival.
